About us

Parents and Parent Action community leaders play with young children outside at a colourful table. The table is filled with water and lots of water toys.

Our team

We want parents to have a place where they belong. From wanting support with your mental health, to making new friends, to taking action on poor housing, we’re here to help you thrive as a parent and as a person. Supported by our Parent Action staff team, we help to connect you with others in your community across the shared journey of parenthood.

Community Organising

As well as believing in the power of parents, we believe in taking action. We listen to what matters to you, and support you to work with others to make positive change for your family and community. As a part of Citizens UK, we work with schools, universities, faith groups, charities and others in the community to bring about social change that benefits the wider communities we work in.

Parent Champions

Parent Champions are parents who volunteer for a few hours a week, to talk with other parents within the community or their local organisation, such as their church, their mosque, or their estate.
