Donate to Parent Action

Parent Action is a community-led project set up by Citizens UK. We are parents working together to build communities, provide practical and emotional support, and take action on the things that matter.

Becoming a parent can change your life entirely. But for many, that change is hard. Going through such a significant experience without the right support around you is not only difficult, but lonely.

We run a weekly calendar of activities, hosted by our Parent Action staff team, where families can spend time together in a safe environment. We also offer practical support and activities for families. Whether it’s planting fruit and veg with your children in our allotment, taking a parenting course for new or expecting parents, or getting peer support for your mental health, we’re here to put parents first.

Put simply, we want to do right by parents. We want to be a space where families not only feel welcomed, but prioritised. We want to give mums and dads a space to grow in their role as parents. As well as accessing their own confidence and power to thrive as individuals, parents can take the lead and positively impact the Parent Action space and their wider communities.

Support our work

We recommend a minimum monthly donation of £12, the rate of the current Real Living Wage, but please pay whatever you can afford.

Individual donations are a vital source of funds for Parent Action and help us to organise and provide additional activities and meet needs identified through listening to parents. These include providing childcare when parents undertake training and other learning activities, trips for families to get new experiences such as museum and theatre trips, developing campaigns to make change on issues that matter to parents such as Black Maternity scandal, housing, ESOL, etc.

Please confirm below if you can give a regular monthly donation, or a one-off donation, by selecting the relevant box.
