Do you have any 'house rules'?

Do you have any 'house rules'?

Posted by Kathryn Beatham

Are there things you ask your children to do regularly? Do you have any 'rules' in your house?

Do you ask your children to tidy up their toys? To say please and thank you? To be kind to each other? To brush their teeth morning and night? What would you include in a list of house rules?

Every home is different but it can help to let your children know clearly what you would like them to do, by making a list of House Rules. You can draw pictures to help small children understand.

Sit down together and talk about it. Put the list where everyone can see it.
